MILAN KRSTIC – Safety Director DOT REASONABLE SUSPICION TRAINING This DOT Reasonable Suspicion Training course provides two hours of required training for supervisors responsible for making reasonable suspicion determinations. The course includes one hour focused on the specific, contemporaneous physical, behavioral, and performance indicators of probable drug use and one hour focused on the indicators of probable alcohol use. The training provides supervisors with the knowledge, practical tools, and skills needed to recognize signs and symptoms of drug abuse and alcohol misuse, make appropriate Reasonable Suspicion determinations, and understand their responsibilities under applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including FMCSA regulations and other DOT agency requirements. DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING This Drug & Alcohol Testing Training provides motor carriers and their drivers with essential information regarding DOT drug and alcohol regulations, policies, and testing requirements. The course is designed to help motor carriers meet the educational requirements outlined in Section 382.601 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs). The training covers the key topics required by the regulation, including alcohol and drug prohibitions, required testing types, testing procedures, consequences of violations, and the effects of alcohol misuse and drug use. It also includes information on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, including employer responsibilities and reporting requirements. This course provides practical knowledge to help employers and drivers understand their responsibilities and maintain compliance with applicable DOT and FMCSA drug and alcohol regulations. Alcohol & Drug Testing covers the following topics: DOT FMCSA CLEARINGHOUSE PROGRAM TESTING The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires covered employers to use the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse to conduct required driver queries, review driver violation histories, complete annual queries, maintain required records, and report qualifying violations. While certain Clearinghouse responsibilities may be delegated to a Third-Party Administrator (TPA), the employer remains ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The FMCSA Clearinghouse Training for Employers is designed to provide practical guidance through each step of the Clearinghouse process, including registration, conducting limited and full queries, reviewing driver records, reporting violations, managing consent requirements, and designating TPAs when applicable. Proper training helps employers and designated Clearinghouse users understand their responsibilities, avoid common compliance errors, and reduce the risk of fines, penalties, and other costly consequences.
